The Story:
I grew up in Massachusetts, and often times we would go polar bear swimming. For those that don't know, its basically in the winter you jump in the ocean and I've done this way too many times to count.

This is an original piece of artwork that was created using alcohol inks, isopropyl alcohol and synthetic paper.
What is alcohol ink?
Extremely pigmented dyes mixed with various levels of alcohol.
What is synthetic paper?
Rather than traditional wood pulp, synthetic paper is made from synthetic polymers that deliver additional material properties. It’s non porous to ensure the inks don’t sink in
I’ve been obsessed with alcohol inks for a few years now. They’ve created some of the most beautiful pieces that I’ve seen. But the main reason is how it makes everything I create unique - it’s impossible to create the same piece twice. I love how unpredictable the inks are. These paintings are also a perfect gift because of what I mentioned above. My art speaks to a wide range of people, and if you’ve got a creative person you’re buying for but aren’t sure specifically what interests they have, my art works perfectly since it doesn’t matter who you are - you can appreciate the feeling that radiates from my paintings.
Alcohol inks fade when in direct sunlight, and with the sprays it helps combat fading and why I recommend all my originals be placed not in direct sunlight

What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns unless damaged, and all sales are final.

What are the care instructions?
Do not hang in direct sunlight as the prolonged exposure to bright lights will cause the ink to fade over time.
Will the colors look the same in person?

I will always include images that are as true to the color as possible, but occasionally colors may be ever so slightly off in hue or vibrancy .
